Did you know that Michael Bennet was one of my first friends in the Senate? For years, I’ve watched how hard he fights for Colorado’s families as he works to expand health care, protect our public lands, and more.
And thanks to Michael, our Democratic Senate majority passed a once-in-a-generation COVID relief bill that will cut child poverty nearly in half when we start sending out direct payments to parents with young children next month.
But the truth is, our Democratic majority rests on a single vote. If Mitch McConnell flips just one seat in 2022, we’ll lose any hope we have at making progress under a Biden-Harris Administration.
Already, super PACs have started attacking Michael and distorting his record. And CNN recently ranked his seat in the top ten most likely to flip in 2022. We cannot afford to lose a champion like Michael in the Senate, so I’m asking:
Will you split an urgent contribution between Michael’s re-election campaign and our work to protect our Democratic Senate majority? Michael’s team needs our help to reach their FEC goal and build a winning campaign.
