Six months ago in the midst of a global pandemic and a tough economy, no one thought this was possible. It's a credit to your work during the election last year, and the focus of our new administration and Democratic majority to get the American Rescue Plan passed and signed into law.
Republicans know they'll never be able to go head-to-head with us on these issues, but we do expect them to gin up nasty smears and half-truths about our progress.
They're already getting started in our district. I'm one of just four Democratic-held seats they're targeting in California.
We need to be ready earlier than ever to fight back against their attacks, and the amount we raise this month -- before our end-of-quarter deadline -- will set the tone for the strength of our organizing efforts later this year. That's why I'm asking:
