We’re glad Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema co-sponsored the For the People Act -- but we can’t believe she was willing to let it fail by refusing to end the filibuster!
With the filibuster in place, Republicans will stop all voting rights legislation from passing.
Now Democrats have one more chance to protect the right to vote and save our majorities from Republican voter suppression: The John Lewis Voting Rights Act!
But we won’t be able to pass this critical legislation without ALL Democrats fighting to end the filibuster -- including Kyrsten Sinema.
