John, we are on the road to Freedom!
This week, on the 60th anniversary of the 1961 Freedom Rides, 1,500 UNITE HERE members and allies from more than two dozen cities across the country have joined Black Voters Matter on the 2021 Freedom Ride for Voting Rights, and we need your support!
Take action NOW to tell your U.S. Senators you want a fair and accessible democracy for all people—no matter our race, zip code or income.
We are proud of the work UNITE HERE members, volunteers and allies like YOU did to Take Back our Country in the 2020 election. Together, we knocked on 3 million doors in NV, AZ, PA, and FL, phone banked hundreds of thousands more, and joined the team that turned Georgia blue in the January 2021 Georgia Senate runoff.
We mobilized millions of voters, and, in doing so, kicked the hornet’s nest of those who benefit from keeping working people and people of color away from the polls.
Since the 2020 election, HUNDREDS of anti-voter bills have been introduced in states across the country. That’s why on Saturday, June 26, UNITE HERE members and allies will converge on Washington DC to tell our elected leaders: Pass the For the People Act NOW to protect and expand our right to vote.
Right now, our voices must be louder than ever. Even if you can’t get on the bus, you can still take action by demanding that Congress protect our freedom to vote!
