In 2018 and 2020, Michigan Democrats delivered major wins across our state. We showed the country what can happen when Democrats start early and work hard.
Across the state, we built the infrastructure to make sure Gary Peters won his reelection. It was a critical victory that helped determine control of the U.S. Senate.
Without Gary, Biden’s American Rescue Plan wouldn’t have happened. Without Gary, Republicans would have control of the Senate and Mitch McConnell would be in charge again.
What we do in Michigan matters. And what we do in the off-years matters.
We have a big end-of-quarter goal coming up and it’s unlike any other in the election cycle because after June, we head into the notorious “summer slump.” July and August are tough months to raise money in -- so we need to use this opportunity to close out the second quarter in as strong a position as possible.
