There's no better way to put it, John. We’re in the “dog days” of summer.

In the summer months, campaigns notoriously see a slow-down in donations. And, to be honest with you, our campaign is no exception.

But with our first public reporting deadline fast approaching we can’t afford for our donations to keep slowing down. The race for Pennsylvania's Senate seat is heating up, and national Republicans have nearly $21 million on hand to keep this seat red and take back the Senate majority.

The good news is that despite the GOP’s cash, we have a real shot at flipping this toss-up seat blue and expanding our Senate majority with a strong candidate like Val — if we ramp up our fundraising. Every single donation ahead of this deadline can make a real difference.
