SPN's 27th Annual Meeting in Colorado Springs, CO is shaping up to be a great event! 1,200 participants representing nearly 500 organizations and hailing from all 50 states have already registered. But one thing is missing...you!
I noticed your name wasn't on the registration list. The good news is there is still time to register and join us October 29-November 1. Registrations can be completed in advance online. On-site registrations will incur an additional $50 fee.
Still debating whether or not it is worth the time out of the office and travel costs? Here are a few of the many reasons SPN's 27th Annual Meeting is an experience you can't miss:
- The Policy Main Stage and workshops will help you plug into the latest information, solutions, and trends. It's a quick and immersive way to understand how your organization's work can gain greater traction and prominence.
- It's more than a policy conference. With various department tracks and professional development sessions, you can also sharpen the skills (or build new ones) that you'll need to accomplish professional and organizational goals.
- The best networking opportunities of the year. Annual Meeting is designed to help you connect with peers, industry experts, and Network leaders. The schedule includes breakout sessions and small group workshops, structured networking opportunities, and social events—all of which make it easy to meet people who can help you achieve your goals for your career, organization, or state.
- You'll leave inspired and prepared to continue your work. Our speakers and sessions will challenge you to go further—whether it's improving your organization’s culture and operations or impacting policy through leadership, education, or strategic partnerships. Even better, you'll leave with practical takeaways that can improve your work as soon as Monday morning.
- Halloween in Colorado Springs. Start your morning off with Environmental Ghost Stories: The Horrors of Government Overreach and work your way through a spooktacular line up of sessions and interactive workshops throughout the day, including the Tricks and Treats of Healthcare Messaging. Conclude the day with State Night in downtown Colorado Springs enjoying local eats and beverages and some friendly competition in the form of darts, billiards, shuffle board, and a Halloween costume contest.
