The end of the second quarter is coming up next week, John, and if we don’t hit our goal, we’ll be outraised by Glenn Youngkin for the third time in a row.

That would be the worst possible outcome.

Youngkin’s already outspending us online, and if we aren’t careful, he’ll start outspending us on the air and on the ground, purchasing more misleading tv ads and blanketing the Commonwealth with field organizers.

We know we can beat him, John, but only if we match his fundraising, and we can’t do that if we miss this goal.
