Flexible season tickets are here at last
Hello
We've campaigned for years for people who commute part-time to be offered an alternative to full-time rail season tickets. The need has been made more urgent by the growing number of people expecting to split their time between home and the office: our survey showed that just 39% of workers plan to travel in to their workplace every day in future.

Unfortunately, the new tickets don't seem to offer the kind of savings we had hoped for and aren't comparable to the discounts for people commuting full time. We fear that they may turn out to be a real missed opportunity.
We'll keep campaigning for more fundamental reform to rail fares and ticketing, as our latest blog explains.
