The longest day has come and gone, summer holidays are upon us soon, and the Euros are in full swing! Yet despite huge numbers of adults taking the vaccine, we are still suffering major restrictions on our freedoms, our lives, our children’s education, on our businesses. We cannot sing or dance at weddings, in church, or school assembly. Travel overseas is almost impossible. We are still told to wear masks despite no scientific evidence they make any difference whatsoever.
It is hard to understand some of the Government's decisions until we remember just how much money the big pharma and testing companies are making. We were told after the over 70s and vulnerable were jabbed we could cry freedom. Still under lockdown, they want to vaccinate our healthy children despite it still being an emergency-approved vaccine.
Please find here a link to a brilliant but depressing article by Allister Heath ([link removed]) in yesterday’s Telegraph. These are really challenging times for the future direction of our country. Do we want to be a high-tax, highly regulated, low-growth nanny state? Or do we want to be a low-tax, smartly regulated, high-growth country that believes in itself, that trusts the people to run their lives, and judge their own risks?
This is why tomorrow’s Freedom March In Central London is so important. It starts at 1pm in Hyde Park, near Marble Arch. It looks like it is going to be the biggest yet. Do come if you can! The mainstream media will deny its existence, so David Bull and I will be running a live Reform TV show along the route with aerial footage and lots of special guests. The hypocrisy of the ongoing Government restrictions grates on all of us. Cabinet member Michael Gove can travel to Portugal with his son to watch the Champions League final without having to quarantine upon return by being on a small new pilot scheme that we cannot join. G7 leaders socialise freely and closely at a BBQ party with no masks while asking us to keep wearing them. Euro VIPs can travel without restrictions to the Euro finals while we cannot travel without heavy constraints. Enough is enough.
