What Mitch McConnell and Republicans just did is indefensible. They blocked our bill to protect voting rights and secure our elections. They sounded just like the Southern Senators of the 1960s who didn’t want to pass the original Voting Rights Act.

Make no mistake: I’m not giving up. We are going to protect the right to vote from the GOP’s attacks. 

But our Senate majority is fragile. If we’re going to save voting rights, we can’t let a single Democrat lose in 2022 AND we need to elect more Democrats to the Senate.
