We’ve got great news: the Tempe Streetcar Project has $17.4 million headed its way!

Greg fought and won $17.4 million for Valley Metro to fund the project as part of the American Rescue Plan. This means investment in a streetcar that connects downtown Tempe and Arizona State University, and links with the lightrail between Phoenix, Mesa, and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

More importantly, this means protection for transit jobs, more accessible public transportation for more residents, and a critical boost to Arizona’s economy.
