In a moment I’m going to ask you to chip in toward our crucial end-of-quarter goal — but I know emails like this are flooding your inbox right now, so first let me explain why our campaign for U.S. Senate deserves your support: Pennsylvanians deserve a leader who can bring their voices to the decision-making table and cut through the noise and nonsense in Washington to get things done. No BS. Just results. I’ve proven time and time again that I have the experience and determination to make a real difference — for patients in the operating room as a physician and for the more than 830,000 Pennsylvanians I serve as Chair of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners. As a doctor, I brought my deep understanding of the difficulties patients face in accessing affordable, quality health care to the fight to reform our health care system — traveling to Washington week after week to help pass the Affordable Care Act and ultimately securing health care for 23 million Americans. Later on as Chair of the Montgomery County Commission, I led the effort to guarantee $15 an hour and paid parental leave for county employees, to build one of the strongest economies in Pennsylvania, and to get on track to go 100% renewable by 2050. Our Commonwealth and our country are counting on that kind of leadership, especially as we recover from the pandemic. It’s more important than ever that we build back our economy and infrastructure and leave no one behind. That’s why we must flip this key Senate seat and put it to work for Pennsylvanians. It’s our best chance at expanding our narrow Senate majority and delivering lasting results. But Republicans have nearly $21 million at their disposal to keep this seat red and take back Senate control. Meanwhile, our first quarter in the race is coming to a close in just a few days, and we’re not quite on track to reach our $150,000 end of quarter goal to make crucial investments in our campaign and prepare for any attacks from Republicans.
