Governor Greg Abbott announced Tuesday he will call a special legislative session beginning July 8.
This means we could have a new chance to:
* End the deadly 10-Day Rule that hurts hospital patients;
* Overturn Roe v. Wade; and
* Protect health care workers from being forced to participate in life-ending procedures like abortion.
Abbott has not yet declared which legislative items will be on the agenda, and state lawmakers can ONLY discuss issues that he chooses.

Because of YOU, the Texas Heartbeat Act passed ([link removed]) this spring and the Alternatives to Abortion program was fully funded ([link removed]) . But lawmakers failed to save vulnerable patients from the horrible 10-Day Rule and only accomplished two of the six ([link removed]) Pro-Life Priorities completely.
Friend, our work is not finished.
