CF Foundation 2020 Annual Report

Latest Policy Updates: the PASTEUR Act and the Affordable Care Act

Last week, Congress introduced the Pioneering Antimicrobial Subscriptions to End Upsurging Resistance (PASTEUR) Act, ([link removed]) a bipartisan bill that, if passed, will support the development of new antibiotics and promote appropriate use of existing ones. Additionally, on June 17, the U.S. Supreme Court dismissed the case against the Affordable Care Act, ultimately preserving protections for the millions of people affected by pre-existing conditions, including cystic fibrosis.
