Nancy Pelosi just announced that the House will establish a select committee to investigate the January 6 insurrection. Eric and the rest of the Democrats have fought hard to find answers for what happened on January 6, but Senate Republicans blocked the proposal for a 9/11-style commission to investigate this domestic terrorist attack.

Even after Republicans stonewalled attempts to establish an independent commission to investigate the insurrection, Eric and his fellow Democrats have kept on fighting for truth and accountability. Now, Nancy Pelosi’s announcement means that Democrats will establish a select committee to formally investigate the attack on our Capitol — with or without GOP support.
