Been there and done that. More than once, in fact.

Did you once live financially comfortably, but now, suddenly, you're
broke? I've been down that road more than once. It's a devastating blow
and it can be hard to wrap your brain around it.

Some folks turn to the path of frugality kicking and screaming because a
major change took them from financial comfort to being broke. But unless
you want to live in misery, you're going to have to adapt. At least
until you can turn things around.

Here's my advice on how to adapt to financial changes.

Have you ever had to deal with a major change in circumstances? If so,
how did you deal with it? What tips do you have for others going through
the same thing right now?

Let's talk about it in the comments.

The Ultimate Guide to Frugal Living

This is the book I always wanted to write.

Living well on a small budget is something I've been passionate about
since my oldest daughter was a tiny baby - so for more than 25 years.

I figured out so many ways to do cool things with less money but I also
figured out how to survive, raise two kids, and put them through college
debt-free on a single mama budget.

None of this advice will require you to live off the land (although
that's awesome too) or make your life something unrecognizable and
filled with drudgery.

It's about small positive changes that help you get a handle on your
money once and for all.
