Dear John,

You have one more chance to stop Ottawa’s online censorship bill (Bill C-10) before it becomes law.

Bill C-10 opens the door for unelected bureaucrats to put your online content under their microscope.

The Trudeau government used parliamentary tactics to ram Bill C-10 through the house of commons before politicians break for summer.

The good news is that Bill C-10 is still in the Senate, so it’s not law yet. And some senators say they are going to oppose Bill C-10.

“We can’t turn this around in a week,” said Senator Donna Daskco. “It would be immoral to do so.”

We need to your help to show senators that you don’t want them to rubber stamp Trudeau’s online censorship bill.

Could you please send an email to the government representative and opposition leader in the senate and tell them not to rubber stamp Trudeau’s Bill C-10? Just send an email to these addresses:
* Government Representative, Marc Gold: [email protected] (mailto:[email protected])

* Leader of Opposition, Donald Plett: [email protected] (mailto:[email protected])

Trudeau’s online censorship bill could limit your fundamental right to free speech online. It’s so bad that even the former vice-chair of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications called the bill “a full-blown assault” on freedom of expression and “the foundations of democracy.”

Do you want more information on how Bill C-10 could impact your ability to hold politicians accountable? Check out this article that the Canadian Taxpayers Federation published in the Toronto Sun. Just click this link ([link removed]) .

Thanks for standing up for taxpayers – it’s making a difference!

Sincerely,
* Franco, Shannon, Todd and the rest of the CTF
