My priorities for Texas will keep our economy strong and creating jobs and opportunity now and in the future. I believe local governments should not be able to raise property taxes more than 4% without a vote of the people. I want to continue to do whatever it takes to secure our border. And I believe we need to improve public education by raising teacher salaries and preparing all high school graduates for jobs in the 21st century – whether they go on to college or not.
