FOSTER

Dear John,

OH BABY, it's puppy and kitten season and so many palm-sized pets need your help. If you could walk through the PAWS Chicago Medical Center, you would see first-hand the little paws reaching out and tiny noses and toe beans pressed against glass, desperately wanting to be touched and cuddled. You'd want to take them all home! But first, they need critical care to thrive.

PAWS supporters always rise to the occasion for pets in need. And they need you again now. These vulnerable puppies and kittens are looking for 250 generous donors in the next 24 hours. Will you join the cause?

Our one-week only Oh, Baby fundraising event ends Sunday, June 27. With your support, these puppies and kittens will be snuggled in loving arms, warmed in special beds, fed from eyedroppers filled with nutrition, and given the medicine they need to survive and thrive. When old enough, they’ll receive vaccines and spay/neuter surgeries and, finally, a family to join and love.

We’ll be with them through the days, weeks and even months they need to heal and grow. But today, your help is crucial.

Lyle and his soulful eyes came to PAWS as part of a large litter of 10 (that’s right, 10!) tiny puppies without homes. Luckily, Lyle was never alone. PAWS made sure he was able to stay with his mom and siblings while they grew. And, just like his siblings, Lyle needed a lot of medical care before he could even stay in a foster home. Lyle’s treatment included vaccinations for Kennel Cough, DHPP, Leptospirosis and more. Now that he's had his neuter surgery, he’s finally ready to be adopted by a loving family. It takes a lot to get a puppy ready for a new home. And that’s exactly why they need your help.

Chocolate came to PAWS as part of a litter of four sweet-as-can-be kittens.

Unfortunately, Chocolate has had a rough start. She and her sisters were rescued from a high-kill state, enduring the stress of a ride through the night. Once at PAWS Chicago, Chocolate tested positive for FIV. This means she’ll need special care for the rest of her life. But that doesn’t mean her life can’t be filled with joy. Once PAWS treats her medical condition, administers her vaccinations and spays her, Chocolate will be ready to move on to the next, happier phase of her life. Your donation is critical to making sure she’ll be ready for adoption very soon.

Thank you for supporting PAWS Chicago—and for all you do for homeless pets.
Sincerely,
