In a minute, I'm going to ask you to make a contribution before the FEC end-of-quarter deadline. But first, I want to tell you why it's so important.

I know I don't need to explain to you that we cannot take our democracy for granted -- this past year, we all saw that truth first hand. That's why it's so important that we re-elect leaders like Derek, who are committed stewards of our democracy.

As long as he's been in public service: Derek has always fought against corruption and for the people. Right now, he's helping to lead efforts to reform our democracy and make Congress more accountable to the people.
