In less than one week the financial quarter will come to an end and my campaign will report our fundraising numbers to the FEC.
I would much prefer it if pundits and my opponents judged me on the job I do in Congress working for Georgia’s families.
Unfortunately, the Republican money machine is only interested in my fundraising. If we fall short this week, it will signal to the Republicans that their corporate big-money fundraising machine is stronger than our grassroots campaign. Then, I know they will only increase their attacks on me.
I do not take corporate PAC contributions because that is not who I represent in Congress.
