I know $24 might not seem like a whole lot when you stand it up next to the millions of dollars outside groups are spending to unseat Democrats like me -- but trust me, it makes a difference.

Because when a mom in Montclair chips in $24, and a restaurant worker from Parsippany chips in $24, and a nurse from Morristown chips in $24, it all adds up. 

And when you chip in $24, it matters. It makes our campaign for NJ-11 a force to be reckoned with.

That’s what our opponents, Washington Republicans, and outside groups will be looking to see when our FEC report goes public after the end-of-quarter deadline next week. 

They’ll be looking at our numbers to judge the strength, reach, and viability of our grassroots campaign.

While the National GOP has already named me one of its top targets for 2022 and put me on a select list of only 10 redistricting targets, this race is so far from over.

What we do ahead of big deadlines like the one we have coming up shapes our race, and ultimately, plays a big role in the final outcome on Election Day. And that’s why I have to ask: If you can, will you chip in $24 -- or however much you can afford -- before the FEC deadline?
