Hi there:

Newly disclosed emails reveal that former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows improperly pressured the Justice Department to overturn the 2020 election results.

It may be worse than you think. Meadows' emails offer a disturbing glimpse into the breadth of the effort to discredit the election; an election that we know was the most secure and accurate in modern memory. Fortunately, one senior Justice Department official dismissed the suggestion as "pure insanity," and declined to bow to the White House pressure.

As Secretary of State, my job is to keep standing up for the truth - and for our democracy.

With your help, I can continue to do that, even in the face of threats and disinformation. We need to raise $15k before the end of the month, so please will you help us keep our momentum going by chipping in now?

Here’s the truth: The 2020 election was fair, accurate, honest, and secure. Period. Those who believe otherwise have been misled.

I see conspiracy theories on a daily basis in my work as Secretary of State.

You have my word that I will continue to fight for the truth and to protect the integrity of our elections. But I can’t do it alone. We’re up against one of the biggest deadlines of the year. Can you please consider sending a donation right now? [link removed]

Thanks,

Steve
