Me again! On a daily basis, I work with change-makers.

In Ziguinchor, Senegal, malnutrition affects more than 20% of children over the age of five. Through our program Leveraging Agriculture to Unite Communities and Hospitals (LAUNCH), undernourished children, pregnant and lactating women, people with disabilities and people living with HIV will journey out of hunger. 

LAUNCH establishes community gardens at hospitals and supports home gardens for program participants. This increases the availability of nutrient-dense fruits and vegetables for consumption, and also creates new avenues for income! 

In Ziguinchor, we’re directly serving 2,000 community members. In communities across the globe, we serve millions of lives, working to create unique and sustainable solutions that enable families to break cycles of hunger and poverty for generations to come. 

That’s why we created the Global Influence Society. Driven by impact and inspired by the resilience of those we serve, we’re leading the charge. Gifts of over $1,000 — given once or incrementally throughout the year — create opportunities for difference-making initiatives, just like LAUNCH in Ziguinchor.
