Pedestrian bridge over DC-295 collapses

Five people were injured when a pedestrian bridge connecting Kenilworth Avenue and Polk Street in Northeast DC collapsed onto DC-295 after a multi-vehicle crash pulled the bridge off its moorings. Demonstration project for missing middle housing pitched in Maryland

Woman killed by Metro train

A woman was struck and killed by a Red Line train at Union Station around 12:30 pm on Wednesday. According to a video, the woman may have intentionally stepped in the path of the train.  (Justin George / Post)

DC looks to attract tourists again
