John, you’ve seen the headlines.

2021 has surpassed any year in recent history with a record number of anti-LGBTQ+ laws enacted across the country and more than 250 discriminatory legislative proposals on the way.

This systematic attack on LGBTQ+ children is unprecedented. Over 100 bills have been introduced to specifically restrict access to medical care and participation in school activities for transgender youth.

John, this is heartbreaking. And it’s why we’re asking for your help today. [[link removed]]

GLSEN is bold and unhesitating in our advocacy for the safety and inclusion of all LGBTQ+ youth. We are committed to supporting comprehensive protections through federal policy and are working directly with the Secretary of Education to enact federal protections so LGBTQ+ young people can live as their truest selves in schools and beyond.

SUPPORT LGBTQ+ STUDENTS [[link removed]]

As more than half of the states in the country try to pass anti-LGBTQ+ bills, the students we work with are once again the target of discrimination. Children whose only crime is wanting to live as their truest selves are directly in harm’s way.

Like you, I don’t believe that anyone’s rights should depend upon their state or zip code.

John, join me in advocating on their behalf. Donate today and support GLSEN’s fight to ensure LGBTQ+ children are protected! [[link removed]]

SUPPORT LGBTQ+ STUDENTS [[link removed]]

LGBTQ+ students face disproportionate levels of discrimination, harassment, and assault—posing a very real danger to their mental health and, ultimately, their lives. We can’t let this continue.

Together, we can make this country a safer and more affirming place for LGBTQ+ students in schools and beyond.
