The race for the Senate is getting more competitive by the day. Here’s a quick rundown of recent news:

• CNN put Ohio on its list of 10 Senate seats most likely to flip in 2022.


• Ohio lawmakers unveiled a major voter suppression bill in our state, making it one of hundreds of similar anti-voting bills being introduced across the country that seek to weaken American voters’ voices in their own democracy.


• If Republicans take back the Senate in 2022, Mitch McConnell said he would block President Biden’s Supreme Court nominee ahead of the 2024 presidential election, possibly even in 2023.
