H.R. 1 — The For The People Act — was just killed by Senate Republicans. 

The For The People Act would have ended partisan gerrymandering, overturned the disastrous Citizens United decision, and expanded automatic and same-day voter registration.

Insead of passing this legislation, the GOP has chosen to double-down on their national strategy to suppress the vote ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.

After a record-breaking number of students, young Americans, and people of color turned out to vote in the 2020 elections, Republicans are pushing states to pass voter suppression bills that would devastate our democracy and be catastrophic for Democrats nationally.
