Friends, we’re just 7 days out from our FEC deadline, and I’m asking you to chip in $7 to hit our critical $100,000 public reporting goal.

Okay, yes, I know it’s a fundraising gimmick.

But here are a few facts:

• On June 30, we face the first FEC public reporting deadline of this campaign
• Donations of $20 or less account for nearly HALF of our online fundraising
• Reporters, opponents, and potential endorsers will look at our FEC report to assess the strength of our campaign

If we want to flip Ohio’s open Senate seat blue, this is our chance to prove we have what it takes. We have to stay on track for a strong FEC report.

And while this gimmick might be a little silly, this deadline couldn’t be more serious. This is our chance to expand our Democratic Senate Majority and cut workers in on the deal. We can’t drop the ball.

Folks, I’m hoping you’ll chip in $7 -- just $1 per day until our first FEC deadline of the race. Can I count on you?
