Solar Panels Installed at Park Headquarters

Next time you’re in West Glacier, you may notice a recent upgrade
at Glacier National Park’s Headquarters building: a brand new
rooftop solar system. The headquarters building is the hub of
Glacier’s operations, housing park leadership offices and
providing year-round visitor information.

This solar project is made possible thanks to very generous

Volunteer at the Native Plant Nursery

Volunteer Tuesdays at Glacier's Native Plant Nursery began June
22 and will continue until mid-August. Hours are generally
9am-3pm with flexibility in time commitment. Duties usually
include weeding, pruning, up-potting plants, and seed collection
later in the season. If you're interested in volunteering, please
contact the nursery directly at 406-888-7835.

Science Fridays Season 2 Kicks Off

It's the return of Glacier National Park's Science Fridays with
Ranger Melissa! Join the park every week to explore and
learn science and research in the park. Most recently, Ranger
Melissa visited with the park's historical architect, Kim Hyatt,
to learn about historic buildings in Glacier. Did you know the
park protects and preserves over 700 historic structures?
