Hi John,
Since January, Republicans at the state level have been busy introducing over 500 abortion restrictions, nearly 400 anti-voter bills, and more than 250 anti-LGBTQIA+ bills to codify discrimination as law.
It's a sweeping, coordinated attack against vulnerable people and the very foundations of our democracy.
For Run for Something, our work matters now more than ever: We must do everything we can to replace these awful conservatives with champions of progress. Winning the White House wasn't enough.
From the start of the new year, Run for Something has endorsed over 200 diverse, young progressives to help do just that.
Today, we're proud to introduce you to 39 more.
Meet our June 2021 Endorsement Class: 39 diverse, young progressives we're helping win power. Read about their campaigns and the change they hope to secure once in office >>>
As always, we want to share the topline demographics for our endorsement class -- Run for Something believes representation matters, and we remain deeply committed to electing new faces to power.
Have a look at our June endorsement class by the numbers:
Where they're Fighting for Progress
→ Education: 13%
→ State legislatures: 5%
→ Municipal: 82%
How they Identify
→ 64% identify as people of color
→ 36% are women of color
→ 59% identify as women (cis-gender)

Before our very eyes, the Republican party is getting Trumpier and Trumpier all the way down. They want us to fight about critical race theory in schools rather than for a living wage for all of us. They want us to panic about "cancel culture" rather than address the deadly threat of climate change.
Who benefits? The wealthiest Americans, corporations, and misogynistic white supremacists.
This will either prove to be their undoing or a winning strategy for years to come -- the outcome will be determined by the success of our movement.
Can we elect hundreds of diverse, young progressives to state and local office? Or will we let corruption and hate win the era?
