Hi Alumnus,
Do you know a young leader who would benefit from an internship at The Heritage Foundation? We rely on our alumni like you to help us find talented individuals who can help us build an America where freedom, opportunity, prosperity, and civil society flourish. Our fall internship application deadline is coming up on July 1st, and we'd love to have your nominations. Feel free to email [email protected] with any nominations that you may have, and pass along this promo to any interested students:
The Heritage Foundation offers 60+ paid internships every spring, summer, and fall; and our program attracts young conservative leaders of the highest caliber. The Heritage Foundation interns get to work directly with our prestigious analysts and policy makers, and many will have the opportunity for original research and writing. We train, equip, and develop tomorrow’s young conservative leaders during their time at Heritage through educational programs like First Principles lectures, policy briefings, mentorship, research, and social gatherings with prominent Heritage fellows. This is definitely not an internship where you’re fetching coffee (though we do have an amazing Nespresso machine) or making copies. Watch the internship video here.
Heritage is looking for rising juniors, seniors, graduate students, and recent college graduates interested in experiencing DC first-hand for the Fall 2021 internship program. You can find a full list of the 60+ open roles online at www.heritage.org/internships. Interested applicants should apply by July 1st by filling out our online application located here. They will also need to submit 2 letters of recommendation and an official school transcript. International students must also submit work authorization.
Additionally, YLP has put together a Resource Guide for students. This tool catalogs some organizations across the freedom and liberty movements and highlights their programs and events. This includes opportunities for high school students, college and graduate students, and postgraduates as well. Check out the Resource Guide here and let us know your thoughts.
Finally, we'll have an an exciting announcement in the next few weeks about an alumni portal!
Best,
Kelley
