I wanted to send you a short note after yesterday's deeply disappointing
vote in the Senate.

John, the
For the People Act didn't have to stall the way it did.

Democrats *literally* have a way around Mitch McConnell on this. But it
will take every Democratic senator having the courage to do the right
thing by abolishing the filibuster. It will take all 50 Democratic
senators voting like actual Democrats.

At any point, I'd readily trade my career for important,
once-in-a-generation legislation to heal and transform our nation.

Just imagine if your vote was the margin of difference to secure the most
transformative legislation to reform our democracy in decades.

That, in and of itself, would cap a career of public service.

If elected to the Senate, it is my promise to you that I would ALWAYS be
that deciding vote that Democrats need to deliver for working people. But
I'll need your help to get there in a race as crowded and
ultra-competitive as this one. [ [link removed] ]If you can, please send

to support this fight to flip this seat for working people.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am truly, truly grateful for all the
support you've given our campaign so far.

John

P.S. Below is an exclusive live look at the Jim Crow filibuster
"protecting our democracy." 🙄 It's standing in the way of real progress
for millions of working people — so let's ditch it. [ [link removed] ]Please donate
$5 if you're alongside me in this fight.
