Every three months, candidates for federal office must compile all of their fundraising numbers and send them over to the Federal Election Commission. Then, those numbers go public.

Look, I’m the new kid on the block. As a freshman Senator, it’s critical we report the strongest numbers possible. I don’t want to give anyone a reason to think our momentum last year was just a fluke.

There’s a Senate seat up for grabs in Colorado. And Mitch McConnell is hoping we get complacent so he can snatch it out from under us. Already, his shady donors have raised $40 million to defeat vulnerable Democrats.
