At the CDF Freedom Schools® program, we believe that reading can unlock every child's unlimited potential--and our greatest joy is getting to watch children realize that themselves, as they fall into the pages of excellent books.
In the books we read, our young CDF Freedom Schools "scholars" make real-life connections. They find characters who look like them and who are achieving great things. They find heroes who show them how they can make a difference in themselves and the world. These libraries of empowerment show children that they can be and do whatever they dream.
