Where dental therapy is longer in the tooth

When Minnesota legislation passed, 80% of dentists did not want dental therapists. Now 60-70% of dentists support the change. Dentists now can’t get enough and want more dental therapists than there are on the market.

Dental therapy students are seeing doors open before they even earn their diploma. Claire Roesler, 24, said, “I’m not concerned at all about finding a job. There are so many options and openings. In the class above us, all of them had jobs when they graduated.”
