President Biden recently nominated David Chipman, an outspoken advocate for
gun control, to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives
(ATF).
Chipman's nomination sends a dangerous message to gun owners across our
nation: an overreaching, politically-biased agency will try to impose its will
on Americans.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives needs a visionary
leader who will defend the Constitution and our Second Amendment rights that
are so sacred to the American people.

Mr. Chipman’s previous work as a gun control activist and his extreme stances
on gun registries, firearm bans, and even against sporting rifles put him in
direct opposition to the Constitution.

Mississippi and across our nation, I believe he is unfit to lead the ATF and
