Our freedom to vote is in danger, John.
We’re not exaggerating. One hundred respected experts on democracy and democratic breakdowns recently signed a letter declaring that "our entire democracy is now at risk" thanks to GOP gerrymandering, voter suppression, and disregard for normal election processes.
The ongoing destruction of democracy is a big deal -- and it’s scary! But as bad as the situation may look, there are still things we can do to stop Republicans from enacting their worst plans and prevent our democracy from collapsing completely.
