In just 7 days, AIPAC’s fiscal quarter will come to an end and we are still short of this month's goal.
Effective advocacy requires passion and resources. Today, I’m asking for your help once again to ensure we have the resources to move the needle on Capitol Hill, build and sustain critical relationships with lawmakers, and help advance bipartisan legislation that will keep Israel safe.
None of it happens without the commitment of pro-Israel Americans like you.
Given the dangers now facing Israel, our work with Congress is all the more vital.
Just last month, terrorists in Gaza fired 4,400 rockets at Israel, forcing thousands of Israeli families to spend days and nights huddling in bomb shelters.
And while most rocket attacks thus far have come from Gaza, Israel's most pressing future threat comes from the north, where Hezbollah now has an arsenal of 150,000 rockets and missiles, many precision-guided.
Military planners estimate Hezbollah will launch thousands of rockets per day at Israel in a future conflict.
Meanwhile, Iran has now begun enriching uranium to 60%—its latest nuclear escalation and the highest-ever purity reached by the regime. Iran has no civilian use for this level of enrichment.
Support from the United States is crucial in ensuring that Israel will be safe from these and other growing threats.
But America’s support for Israel does not simply happen. It relies on committed activists like you working with AIPAC and Congress to help keep the relationship between these two great democracies strong.
