I saw something quite alarming today...
According to a new poll, voters rate political division as the top issue facing the country. Americans are more worried about the toxic politics dividing our country than any particular policy issue.
As Governor of Maryland, I wouldn't be able to get anything done without governing with civility and working across the aisle to deliver better, more positive results for our citizens. Maryland is proof that when we focus on what unites us rather than divides us, we can achieve great things.

Americans have had enough of the division and are looking to their leaders to help secure a safe future for their children. We won't succeed unless we work together and across the aisle to find common ground on the challenges we face.
