[ ]( # ) There’s still time to stand with mothers in rural Africa as they fight hunger, whatever the weather.

Dear Friend,

[ ]( # )
Right now, families in rural Africa are feeling the effects of the climate crisis first and worst. We recently shared with you [ Grace's story ]( [link removed] ). Reliant on the weather to keep her crops healthy and flourishing, too often she loses them to drought and unpredictable heavy rainfall.

That's why, with your support, we are working alongside families like Grace's to protect and nourish the soil, to prevent extreme weather from wreaking havoc, and putting families at greater risk of hunger.

Help from our supporters like you is already proving life-changing for families on the frontline of the climate crisis. We would like to share Caroline's inspiring story with you so that you know the amazing difference [ a gift from you today ]( [link removed] ) could make to more families like hers.

Caroline (pictured) has been part of our Improving Nutrition project in western Kenya for three years. With hard work and determination, she has learned and implemented the practical solutions she needs to grow enough to eat and lift her family out of poverty - all in the face of the climate crisis.

“Send a Cow has trained me on how to prepare my farm and plant crops to sell and eat. Changes in the weather mean I can’t rely on one type of food. I plant different crops for the rainy season and some for periods of drought. With the farming techniques I have learned, I am seeing great results from my hard work and the seeds I have sown."

From making compost to setting up a keyhole garden, Caroline has been working tirelessly to boost her farm's resilience to climatic shocks, so that whatever the weather brings, she is able to provide for her family.

The climate crisis is happening right now and we can't ignore it. There are many more mothers like Caroline who need your support. So will you do one more thing to stand up for families like hers today?

Together, we can ensure mothers like Caroline can fight hunger and safeguard their livelihoods, for generations to come. With the right training, families won't need to go hungry as a result of the weather.
