Earlier today — thanks to Republican obstruction — the For the People Act failed in the Senate without a debate.

I don’t know about you, folks, but I am sick and tired of some Washington Republicans blocking our progress and stalling legislation that the American people want.

After historic voter turnout delivered a Democratic Senate and White House, Republican state legislators across the country are trying to roll back voting rights and block access to the ballot box.

State lawmakers have introduced over 375 harmful voter suppression bills across 48 states. And Georgia’s egregious new law even makes it a crime to bring food and water to people waiting in long lines to vote.
