John, this was always going to happen if Democrats didn’t get rid of the filibuster.

Today, Mitch McConnell and the GOP used the filibuster to block the For The People Act. This was the big chance to secure historic voting rights protections as Republicans across the country pass more voter suppression laws.

So we’re coming to you with a simple message today: Until we transform the Democratic Party to unequivocally fight for the people and take bold action like ending the filibuster, this country is in trouble.
