[[link removed]]Dear John,

We’re hearing that a vote to begin debate on the For the People Act (S.1) is happening THIS WEEK.

This is our shot to pass a bill that will create national standards to protect
our freedom to vote, ensure fair representation for all, and end the dark
influence of corporate money in politics that inhibits our progress on so many
fronts: health care, environmental justice, education, and more.

We have a short window of time to make sure our senators feel the pressure and
hear us loud and clear: they must pass the For the People Act . It’s on all of us to make sure our senators hear from their own constituents
-- over, and over, and over.

Call your senators now at: (202) 224-3121

Our senators work for us. Calls from their constituents emphasizing priorities need attention are of the
utmost importance. Every single senator needs to feel the pressure of our
demand.

Democracy is connected to many important issues young people care about. If we
are ever going to see progress on these issues, we must have a democracy that
responds to the needs and priorities of voters—not wealthy donors and corporate
interests.

No matter what state we live in, building the momentum, passing the For the People Act and fighting for these transformative changes is something each of us can help
with, by picking up the phone and making a call to our senators.

Together, we can flood their phones and make it clear: the For the People Act is the priority.

Call your senators now at: (202) 224-3121

Let’s pass the For the People Act this summer,

Edwith Theogene
Director of Advocacy
Generation Progress

PS: Calling your senator is more fun when you call with a friend so spread the
word! Invite your family and friends to join you in taking action to multiply
your impact.
