7 Policy Proposals to Restore US Trees 

Tree restoration is a critical step toward removing carbon dioxide from the air and meeting U.S. climate goals. Done right, restoration could remove a whopping 540 million tons of carbon dioxide every year until 2050. What’s the best way to make that happen? PROJECT UPDATE: 2021 P4G Seoul Summit Positions P4G as a Delivery Platform for Inclusive Partnerships 

The P4G initiative, in which WRI is a key partner, promotes market-based partnerships that create sustainable, resilient economies. At the recent P4G summit in Seoul, dozens of world leaders endorsed the Seoul Declaration, which emphasizes the role that public-private partnerships can play in achieving net-zero emissions. Tatiana Clouthier, head of Mexico’s Secretariat of Economy, called P4G partnerships “examples of effective and successful synergies” that lead to high-impact projects. Read more.
