We need expanded solar access now!
Hi Friend,

This Legislative Session, we worked to increase access to solar power for
all Nevadans. Assembly Bill 465 seeks to accomplish that by creating a new
program providing lower bills, job training and placement, and new
medium-scale solar projects for low-income communities. Renters and others
who have historically been left behind by rooftop solar programs can join
and know their power comes from the sun.

The bill passed with nearly unanimous support and was signed into law. Now
it’s up to the  Public Utilities Commission of Nevada to create the
program regulations. We want to get it up and running quickly, and to be
as big and as bold as possible.

* As many new projects in the community as possible
* Big bill savings for low-income families
* Job training and placement that diversifies the solar workforce
* A fast implementation timeline

With your support, we can ensure no one is left out of Nevada’s growing
clean energy economy.

Thank you,

The RenewNV team
