[1]Women's March

John,

A few hours from now, the U.S. Senate will vote on whether to begin debate
on the For the People Act — a landmark piece of voting rights legislation
that would reform our democracy and expand access to the right to vote.

But Mitch McConnell has already vowed that his GOP will reject the bill —
and with the Jim Crow filibuster still in place, this vote is now doomed
to fail.

What *could have been* the most significant election reform bill in
decades is now destined to die in this 50-50 Senate. But it doesn't have
to be this way, John. Abolishing
the filibuster would open the door for the passage of urgent feminist
priorities like the For the People Act, which is why Women's March is
sounding the alarm and organizing our volunteers to pressure Senate
Democrats to end the racist filibuster.

Our democracy cannot be allowed to remain in the hands of Mitch McConnell
and his years-long legacy of obstruction — and now we're coming to you
because we urgently need your help to turn up the pressure. [ [link removed] ]Please rush
an emergency $3 donation to Women's March to support our
advocacy work to abolish the filibuster, end McConnell's stranglehold on
the Senate, and fight tirelessly for our feminist priorities.

Let's make this clear: Bipartisanship is impossible with a party that
continues to falsely claim election fraud, is excusing an outright
attempted insurrection, and denies us our most basic democratic rights.

We cannot allow obstructionists like Mitch McConnell to block the progress
we've fought so hard for. But that is exactly what he's vowed to do — not
only with the For the People Act, but with ANY urgent priorities for our
feminist movement.

Just look at what he's said about obstructing Biden's potential nominees
to the Supreme Court:

This has got to stop. Women's Marchers are getting organized and ready to
fight to abolish the Jim Crow filibuster and end McConnell's
obstructionist reign in the Senate once and for all. But this work isn't
possible without your financial support,
John.

[ [link removed] ]Will you donate $3 right now to support Women's March's
fight to end the filibuster, stop Mitch McConnell, and advocate for the
feminist future we deserve? Women’s Marchers are watching, and we will not
let our hard work be trampled by the GOP's political games.

Women’s March
