Democrats in the House of Representatives have a plan that’ll increase checks for every Social Security beneficiary: The Social Security 2100 Act.

John,

The Social Security 2100 Act has over 200 co-sponsors in the House, but several Wall Street Democrats are holding up this critical bill in the Ways & Means Committee.

We’re applying grassroots pressure by driving Expand Social Security trucks around their districts, starting with Rep. Stephanie Murphy’s district in Florida.

Truck in Florida with message:

Donate right now to send a message to every Democrat who’s standing in the way of the Social Security 2100 Act: Expand our earned benefits and prevent an automatic 20% benefit cut in 2035. Pass the Social Security 2100 Act today!

Thank you for fighting to protect and expand Social Security for current and future generations.

John,

The Social Security Administration just announced that Social Security benefits will rise by 1.6% next year as a cost of living adjustment (COLA).

That’s good―but it’s not nearly enough. People who rely on Social Security benefits could actually see even smaller checks next year, after their Medicare premiums increase.1

Democrats in the House of Representatives have a plan that’ll increase checks for every Social Security beneficiary: The Social Security 2100 Act.

The 2100 Act would increase benefits across the board, and prevent an automatic 20% benefit cut in 2035 by extending the life of the Social Security trust fund into the next century.

Why hasn’t the 2100 Act been voted on yet? Because some Democrats on the Ways & Means Committee are standing in its way.

Today, we’re sending a powerful message to one of them: Rep. Stephanie Murphy’s district in Florida is getting a visit from a truck that will get noticed:

Donate $7 to send trucks like this after every Democrat who's standing in the way of adequate Social Security benefits.

Medicare’s premium increases will be announced next month. We’re fighting not only to increase Social Security benefits, but to enact a Medicare for All system that will eliminate premiums and deductibles from Medicare, so that seniors and people with disabilities can keep their whole Social Security checks.

Thanks for standing with us,

Alex Lawson
