Hey there Friend, In Prince Edward Island, the Green Party official opposition just pushed through Canada’s first provincial plan to permanently end food insecurity. In New Brunswick, Green MLAs are steadfast in calling for the full implementation of all calls to action from the final report of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. In Ontario, our Green MPP, and Leader of the Provincial Party, is fighting for paid sick leave for all and to protect essential workers. In British Columbia, Green MLAs are the only representatives fighting to save the last of our precious and irreplaceable old-growth forests from the loggers’ chainsaws. The message is clear. Where there are elected Greens — whether it’s one, two or many — there is hope. As a member of the GPC mobilizing team, I hear these kinds of David-and-Goliath stories every day. Working with local campaigns around the country, I’m often first to hear about the incredible work our local ridings and Green Members of Parliament are doing. Trust me when I say that no other party matches our ambition for our communities. It’s why when Greens get elected, they stay elected. An elected Green anywhere — municipally, provincially, or federally — is a win for every person in Canada. At a time when we face an affordability crisis, stagnant wages, student debt, and a climate crisis, an elected Green means one more voice speaking out for what’s right, one more voice offering the innovative policy solutions we need. Our polls tell us we are surging in key ridings across Canada. Imagine what we could accomplish together if we did the groundwork now to vote in a fleet of Greens to Parliament next election. Your donation will make that possible. So here’s my pitch. We’re fast approaching a crucial fundraising deadline. We’re asking for your support now so we can finish the first half of 2021 strong and ready for an election. That election could be called any moment. Now is the time to show our strength. Let’s make this next election our best yet,
